How should technology be designed to help facilitate individual and collaborative thinking?
About Us
Inqwire has spent the last 10+ years researching and developing technologies for enhancing individual and collaborative thinking.
Our origins began in 2009 with the discovery that there is a finite set of universal patterns in language that can be used to facilitate and enhance mental processes that are required for reaching insights, learning, problem-solving, decision-making, and more.
Through a multi-year project, we collected, refined, and abstracted these patterns into a library of forms that enables anyone to facilitate quality thinking processes for individuals and groups.
Now, our mission is to make this library widely available and to teach others how to use it to design and deploy facilitated thinking frameworks and processes around their areas of interest and expertise.
We envision a world where anyone can facilitate powerful thinking both within their organizations, schools, and communities, and amongst their friends, families, and neighbors, to address their most important everyday and real-world challenges.
Our Work
A Library of Universal Thinking Forms
The product of over 10 years of research and testing, The Library of Universal Thinking Forms is an essential resource for thinking in any domain.
The forms were developed following a multi-year survey of natural language for essential patterns that could facilitate insights, understanding, learning, and tacit knowledge articulation across a wide range of fields, domains, and practices.
The forms are carefully formulated to interface with the human mind in a way that facilitates thinking processes that leverage higher level cognitive abilities that are unique to human intelligence and out of reach of AI.
Each form corresponds to an orthogonal dimension of thought that is highly configurable to fit into any context.
Training for Designing Facilitated Thinking Frameworks & Processes
Our training programs teach principles, methodologies, approaches, and patterns for designing individual and collaborative thinking processes across domains.
Training is available for professional roles, including educators, coaches, therapists, consultants, managers, community leaders, as well as for non-professionals who want to facilitate thinking in their personal life or community projects.
We offer cohort-based training, one-on-one training, and project based training.
A Software Platform for Automating Facilitated Thinking Processes at Scale
Based on Universal Forms for Facilitated Thinking and discoveries from our research, our “Programmable Facilitator” software platform enables the automation of facilitated human thinking at scale.
Designers who are trained in the software platform can build highly customizable multi-step processes that can be deployed for synchronous or asynchronous facilitated thinking across organizations and communities of any size, automatically facilitated with human or AI voice guidance.
